Thank you for all the effort you are putting into this. As much as I want this theory to be true, truth and accuracy are of utmost importance. Those opposed to this administration can't just claim election fraud without incontrovertible truth... not after we pushed back so hard on Republican fraud claims in 2020. Truth matters. We must never stoop to the level of these opponents.
"I agree—we should never stoop to their level. But we also can’t afford to dismiss critical information just because it sounds ‘crazy.’ The truth is, these people are crazy. They’re willing to do anything for power and money, no matter how unethical or absurd.
Do you really believe Trump was ‘shot’ with a 5.56 round in the ear—yet has no injury, no scarring, and ‘healed’ in days? Do you honestly think Trump and Musk are above cheating, stealing an election, or rigging the system? Nobody’s jumping to conclusions here—we’re connecting the dots. And the picture forming is very plausible, with clear evidence of inconsistencies.
Harris getting zero votes? Sketchy as hell.
Republicans get to scream ‘fraud’ at every election, demand endless audits, and push conspiracy theories with no evidence. But the second we question irregularities on our side, it’s immediately dismissed as ‘silly,’ ‘nonsense,’ or ‘impossible.’
In Fauquier county, Virginia we have manual procedures in place to test the validity of the election results. By law, this should be true throughout all of Virginia. Before election day, we perform logic and accuracy testing, where a test deck is run through the tabulators with valid and invalid ballots, and we test to see that only valid ballots are counted, and that the results are what we expect them to be. This test is very extensive and takes many hours to run. After the election, a risk limiting audit is performed where a statistical sample of the ballots are pulled from the machines and counted to see that the results of that hand count matches the machine count. There are usually a few ballots that were not counted by the machine because it could not read them and that is the discrepancies that we actually find. The number of uncounted ballots is usually well under 1%. Any close election can be contested by the losing candidate and a recount performed. in the recount, the machine are set to even tighter tolerances than they were on election day and all “rejected“ ballots are hand inspected, and if “the voters clear intent“ is discernible,
I would say that by law this should be the standard for all elections everywhere! Plus a strict prohibition on any software or hardware "updates", especially in large numbers, shortly before an election.
After elections, testing and any maintenance or upgrades needed should be done right away, and the whole system should then be securely stored to sit unused—and *actually* air-gapped—until the next election.
So I think the underlying point of This Will Hold's posts is that all they have cited should sound the alarm bells loud and clear -- and prompt investigations from state attorneys general. Put it this way, to believe that all was copacetic with the 2024 election at this point -- knowing all we know --would be delusional. There's no forensic "proof" of foul play yet -- because the ballots, the software systems, tabulators, etc haven't been scrutinized by the forensic process. In my book, the evidence of meddling is overwhelming and demands investigation and answers for the public. The future of the Republic teeters at the precipice. I've been following and documenting findings from cyber experts and analysts -- including Election Truth Alliance and Smart Elections -- since November. We need forensic audits and a closer look at the key players involved. Columbo will tell you sometimes the gut is a better judge than the intellect. Let's find out if there's something to see here or not -- before the 2026 mid terms. Thanks
The 2024 results never made sense to me. We need a better system for our voting.... Better security and paper ballots not only as a backup, but as a confirmation. If every county in the US would advertise that they were going to count the paper backup votes then there would be no doubt of the final vote count. Even if it takes 6 months to count the paper votes then it would discourage any underhanded actions by bad actors.
I have been following your posts and am so grateful for your rational investigative position which is ABSOLUTELY what is needed. I would be so grateful if you could comment on the compelling statistical anomalies hidden in the data of the election, that Election Truth Alliance is discovering. I am most definitely not a statistician and found the presentation of their analysis a bit difficult to follow. HOWEVER, there were some graphs that were startling and even someone not versed in stats and maths can see that something is not right, REALLY not Ok.
Sounds like a problem for Banacek to solve. It's that deep, that complex. A guy with diminished capacity, holding half empty rallies talking about windmills, sharks in the water, and demented serial killers, won the 2024 election in all blue states where a blue wall usually held.
We are asked to believe that said individual won the popular vote as well (which we know he lost before and was always upset over it and his crowd sizes) we are also asked to believe that a dark sith lord who earlier claimed that anything can be hacked (he's right, security is an illusion) worked for this individual and recently claimed that had it not been for him, the numbers would be different and the candidate would have lost.
We also know that he spent 28 million on those idiots to go out and get voters engaged etc, which those very workers then scammed him for pay. We also know that he claims that he spent 290 million on the election, yet nowhere does anything show these types of numbers. If you subtract the 28 million that was documented that he spent from the 290 million he now claims he spent, that leaves 250 million or so outstanding. Where exactly did that 250 million go? No one can say, and no one is looking for it.
That all being said, dems ghosted their constituents so quickly it made heads spin. And after raising 1.5 billion dollars in less than a month, we find most of all of it was paid to celebrities who never got their followers to show up, and never even showed up themselves, and took the money and split town after getting it.
But the energy was there nonetheless, and the blame the candidate for their loss was quickly trotted out when it was over before 10pm after numerous reports saying it would taje several days for it to be determined. Surely nothing bad happened. People got paid the big bucks though and the people were treated no different than the suckers that politicians think the people are.
Ask yourself why does a candidate need 1.5 billion dollars for a months worth of campaigning? Why does any candidate need your money to fight xy or z issue? Why does any PAC need your money? Why do politicians already in office need your money? Why are 90 percent of office holders worth millions of dollars, yet need your money to stay in office?
What happened to civil servants of the people? Why is it now all about the money they make on side deals and inside information on stock deals and building social influence?
“But as the white paper makes clear, these deficiencies do not create a “wide open door” across an entire national or statewide system. For an air gap breach to occur, a lot of things have to line up: Most breaches would require either human error, an insider, or specific setup vulnerabilities in a specific situation. So while the arguments presented do move the needle from “no way” to “possibly” — I haven’t seen evidence of widespread election system designs where e-poll books and tabulators share a live data pathway and are thus vulnerable.”
Michael, everything you say is true, but you worked in intelligence, specifically Russia, which has become a master of deception in the Great Game; so I would expect you to understand that actual evidence is hard to come by when making an intelligence assessment against a deceptive, and secretive nation. And MAGA Inc., at its highest echelons, is secretive and extremely deceitful and deceptive!
Therefore, absolute certainty will never be forthcoming, while the lack of concrete evidence proves nothing, especially when the culprit has engaged in similar behavior in the past; stealing elections, and using government power for nefarious purposes and activities.
Secondly, Air Gaps have always been suspect; especially when you need contractors to update systems, or if you have cohorts operating on the inside.
Just ask the Iranian’s when Israel and America unleashed Operation Olympic Games against a their Nuclear Facility at Natanz. That facility was “Air Gapped,” and yet somehow the US and Israel were able to successfully infiltrate that facility, destroying most of their nuclear centrifuges.
And your point about Jack Cobb, the founder and long-time director of Pro V&V, not having a motive that we know of to commit voter fraud; again proves nothing.
Cobb could have been extorted, paid, blackmailed or a willing participant; bottom line, we have no idea. However, we do know that Pro V&V operates secretly and out of sight. And since they essentially govern themselves with little to no oversight, they are ripe for the taking, or in this case; corrupting.
Michael, I know given your reputation and attention to detail, you need definitive proof; however, you know that will most likely never materialize.
However, given these clowns past nefarious behavior, access to systems their operatives never should have had access to (GA, AZ, and CO), as well as their willingness to engage in a “ends justify the means” approach to winning; you can’t honestly discount that in fact that with inside help, knowledge and accessibility, they could have easily bypassed our election control systems.
Just look at how easily they dismantled our administration state and the rule of law after the election!
Furthermore, it’s not only plausible, it’s obvious that some malicious actions took place. And it wasn’t just the tangible actions taking place; recruiting billionaires who owned media outlets and social media platforms, or threatening the MSM, billionaires and corporations who refused to comply.
We also had the intangibles, like their overall hubris and arrogance that was on display even as Trump was dancing to the tune of the YMCA during a CNN town hall, or viciously attacking Haitians during a debate with his “eating cats and dogs” comment. Or his assassination attempt in which he was supposedly hit by an AR-15 bullet, yet his ear suffered no visible injury; another magic bullet I suppose! At that distance and the velocity of an AR-15, part of his ear would have been completely annihilated.
And yet, when the new polling came out, the races would just tighten; nothing moving the needle in either direction, which makes absolutely ZERO cents (statistically speaking)! And all this while his campaign managers and senior advisers didn’t even flinch!
Not to mention, Trump saying the quiet part out loud; “vote for me, and you’ll never have to vote again!” Or how Kevin Roberts at Heritage said, “the revolution will be bloodless, if the radical liberals let it be!” Or their goal of instituting Project 2025, Orban’s playbook from Hungary. Or parts of the MSM obeying and complying in advance; up to a year before the election. Could they have known something the rest of us didn’t?
My point, there was so many shenanigans taking place during the 2020 election (which was the test case for 2024), that it’s easy to believe that they engaged in even more reckless and sinister behavior in 2024.
After all, no one in 2020 paid a price, so why would they even think they needed to stop, especially after SCOTUS carved out an unconstitutional immunity clause in the constitution, just for Trump. IMHO!…:)
I hear ya and I feel kinda the same way. We all have to have a threshold level where we determine that the evidence is sufficient for us to "make the call". I get that. It reminds me of the legal systems where if you win, it's not "not guilty" - it's "not proven". In the law, evidence really must meet a certain threshhold and it's a high one, particularly for criminal matters -- high enough that some pepetrators escape accountability so that the opposite (innocents convicted) is relatively less likely. Here we're not talking about a law enforcement prosecution, we're just trying to figure out what happened. Or that's what I'm trying to do. What standard should I use? It's a personal choice. "Beyond reasonable doubt" is too high a standard. "Preponderance of evidence" is just the "weight of a feather" on one side or the other. That feels a little too light. But if we got there, I would be saying "it's more probable than not" that abcd happened. Anyway, I know it's frustrating and I know some are going to say I'm too cautious. I accept that. I'll keep trying though, because that's what happens in investigations -- you keep trying to find more evidence if you suspect (but can't yet prove) that something is going on. Or if you feel the matter is just so important that it deserves the best investigation you can provide. I'm doing that. I'm not sure it really amounts to much in the overall scheme of things, but I'm hoping also that maybe some of my prodding will get some of those who are chasing this to dig a little deeper and then maybe they'll find a key piece of evidence that will change the assessment.
One reason I give so much credence to these allegations is that there's so much conflict of interest involved it seems almost impossible for there *not* to have been some sort of malfeasance.
There's Elon Musk, of course, a man whose every action at DOGE would have triggered its own massive corruption scandal in any sane administration.
But there's also Peter Thiel, right wing billionaire technocrat and sponsor of JD Vance's political career. He just so happens to own Palantir, a cyber security company, which partnered with Eaton.
And Eaton bought Tripp Lite, the UPS supplier for the voting machines, from Barre Seid, yet *another* right wing billionaire, who suddenly bought all Tripp's shares in early 2020.
Now, it could be this is all a coincidence, sure. But there's something really suspicious about how this ring of right wing power brokers:
1. took a sudden interest in one of the very few places in the supply chain you could feasibly insert compromised components into the voting machine system without it having to be recertified. (the UPS system)
2. set up a system that could give them direct access to those compromised components and thus the whole machine, with no intervening systems to detect or log it. (Musk's DTC satellites)
3. developed what amounts to blatant vote-rigging software. (BallotProof)
And the very next election after all these things were in place, we had an election riddled with statistical anomalies that handed power to Donald Trump, a man as blatantly corrupt as he is obviously incompetent, allowing them to gut all the federal agencies that stop them from doing whatever they want.
With respect, Michael , would you keep forgetting is that the whole intent of this is to get a manual recount so that we do have definitive proof. Not to say hey Donald Trump didn't win the election based on the evidence they've already got. And, in my opinion and many others, they most certainly have enough evidence to indicate the need for the manual recount. And it only grows.
I don’t think we will find evidence of manipulation about 2024. I think our biggest concern should be how to tighten these „possibilities“ of circumventing our voting process. I get that it is a security risk for state election commissions to publicize their risks and controls but we as the public should have some idea of the overall controls they maintain over the OT. Some potential ideas‘using old school concepts:
1. Independent auditors to examine machines making sure post- election that all counts match and all paper ballots are accounted for.
2. A test of each machine on the day of election with independent observers to prove the software is counting just one vote and that the vote is recorded correctly.
3. If a machine jams, special control procedures may be needed to ensure proper counting.
4. Come up with a way for the voter to visually confirm their actual vote after they scan the paper ballot. Their selections would show on the screen and they push „Confirm“ to clear the info.
It’s entirely possible that our boards of election are already performing some of these controls - I am not trying to point fingers, just that I don’t have total confidence right now in the systems across the country.
The only problem with number 2 is that the algorithms that change the vote won’t kick in until they reach a certain number of votes; otherwise it will act according to procedure.
I did think of that as well and agree with you. What can we formulate as a control to address this? Is the algorithm embedded in the software of the voting machine or is it in the tabulator? This algorithm is not my area of expertise.
We rushed to postulate and then examine a very specific theory or mechanism whereby fraud could have happened. I am afraid the refutation of this very specific scenario will foster the conclusion that nothing happened. I find it more interesting to look at the statistical anomalies, which I find truly worrying and then consider different scenarios for how. Also I understood that no statewide interference was necessary, only in key counties in the swing states
I was a CISA and audited large financial systems so no experience with voting systems. I have a friend who used to be a CISO for county elections. He is researching this question as well as reaching out to others higher up that he knows.
Let’s see if This Will Hold has any recommendations.
Until there is a manual count, I don't care what you think you may have or may not have debunked. When technology and those who control it are far more advanced than even the smartest of people, it is possible. I have witnessed basic cheating which goes undetected, so a sophisticated technological cheat can also. So many things in this world are beyond explanations. The government has been able to commit acts and hide them for decades, so to assume that technical advancement can't take it to a new level is naive. And if it is so secure then why was Tina Peters paid to hack a voting machine, pass off the hard drive to Musk, get caught, go to jail, and absolutely nothing was done to Musk or to resecure voting machines and the media barely mentioned it. If they can make minimus changes remotely then they can cheat remotely. They don't have to change every state or every vote, just enough to cinch it.
Musk's illegal monetary interference alone make this an illegitimate presidency, I digress. There were failures at so many levels, intentional or not. There is enough circumstancial evidence to warrant an audit. There is enough hanky panky, that election security needs to be reviewed and how we vote needs to change. We need to resolve this no matter the outcome for future elections, if we ever have another one. Side note: Trump gets to harass and harang a recount for well over a year proving the 2020 election was legit despite his efforts. So why is everyone so adverse to proving 2024 was legit? Why wouldn't the powers that be put it to rest? Why don't we have routine audits for election integrity? What the fuck is wrong with people, so afraid of what, being wrong or being right?
I'm surprised and uncomfortable that someone who seems to credibly present as a "fact enthusiast", currently invested in analyzing election results in the (ostensibly thorough & fair-minded) investigation above, doesn't mention—even once—numerous, deeply concerning anomalies revealed in voter data per the last US election.
If voter data historically conforms to certain patterns within certain ranges & margins, and then suddenly doesn't—especially in swing states—surely someone who is genuinely interested in facts would be inclined to find out whether these unnatural divergences in strategically significant areas might be the "evidence" he says is lacking.
They should just do the forensic audits already! What can it hurt? Then we all know for sure. It all looks very fishy to me and considering the Republican players, I have no doubt there was cheating.
I very much appreciate your intent (what is true, rather than possible or probable) as well as your approach (consider all relevant, credible information with an open mind). You have sufficiently earned my trust for me to upgrade to a paid subscription to help you in your further investigations. I'm very selective, as these paid subscriptions add up quickly, so consider yourself special!
This piece is great. It takes an honest look at the potential vulnerabilities of the US voting system.
Considering that issue alongside the hacking of the public’s perception and we get a glimpse into what’s gone on for so long that it just seems natural.
There’s so much manipulation going on that the public is intentionally distracted, misdirected from even noticing, much less questioning, it’s just depressing.
it is not JUST the last (worst in history) election..it is all future (fair and democratic ) elections on the LINE...Viktor and putin do not get re-elected every time, cause they are great guys !
We all appreciate the deep dives that are being done. I think we all just want to feel good about mid term voting numbers. Thank you for the work that you and others are doing.
There are many pieces of work on substack and the internet right now of high value. And partly because of your uncompromised curiosity, this is one of them. Thanks!

Well said and salient points. You must be older because I’m sixty and I never heard of Banacek….:)

It’s not my area of expertise either, I just know enough to be dangerous, so I’m essentially useless..:)
I agree this is something to look into. My bandwidth is a little limited but this is an area I will explore. Thanks for flagging it.
Hi Michael, I assume you’ve read this by now, but in case not (and for anyone else in the thread who might be interested): https://open.substack.com/pub/thiswillhold/p/she-won-part-iii-the-devil-is-in?r=5ysd&utm_medium=ios
On the same link I gave you above, look at the drop-off graphs by state, with patterns as presented by County.
Thank you very much. I will do my best to get this right.
Thanks!
Thank you for your efforts on this very important subject😊
