Whether or not Zelenskyy made the right choice will quickly become apparent. Either Ukraine continues to frustrate Russian advances and even takes back more territory or Russia regains its momentum, secures its supply lines, rebuilds its petroleum industry and figures out how to defend Crimea. But the real rival was Fedorov, a CIA connected sockpuppet for Western closed loop procurement, diverting massive funding to private drone startups like Firepoint, whose politically connected oligarchs have since fled the country.
Because they were buying cheap, low-grade Chinese components via European shell companies and marking up the prices to defraud the state, to make long range drone strikes for viral content while infantry units were left without basic supplies.
Hence the rapid collapse of Kostiantynivka and Lyman.
An internal security war has now ensued because the legislature are terrified of expanding conscription and refuse to confirm Zelensky’s new Defence Minister Klymenko.
Meanwhile a panicked Zelensky has placed the entire defence apparatus under the control of the SBU Internal Security Agency boss Malyuk, who has immediately launched a massive anti-corruption investigation to destroy Fedorov’s network.
The press gangs are about to get even worse.
No wonder the narcofuhrer is hiding behind a bulletproof shield.
At the end of the day, the buck stops at Zelenskyys' desk. No one liked it when Syerski (sp) first took over the reins of a very popular Commander. But that worked out for Ukraine.
Give the Man some rope! If you ask me, it's been a very long time since a Head of State stuck his neck out, took the heat and stood by his principles. Makes me wanna pay attention and see just exactly what he will do next...
Fedorov has not resigned from the government, just from his position as Minister of Defence. Much will now depend on how Zelensky can best deploy him so as to restore harmony. He must move quickly.

Could it be as Ukraine developed partnerships with other EU countries there needed to be more alignment with their military, Germany for example?
