Donald Trump and others he hangs with (some whom he appointed) are the biggest moles for Putin and Russia this nation has even seen.. LOOK THERE.. and at these so called Christian Nationalist and authors of Project 2025..
So...after listening to this...my first thought...( conspiracy theory..) is that was the period that Trump was there...could he have had any knowledge of the men lost during this period..or am I 'over reading' your suggestions?? I keep thinking 'he's NOT that intelligent'...but he's been implicated that he tried m or did.. join with the KGB at that time..and your knowledge of that period is faultless as far as I can see. Forgive me if I jump to too many conclusions...Thank you.
Yes, I believe you're overthinking it -- understandably so. But there's no evidence thta Trump had any knowledge of any of this, nor would it be logical for him to know. This was kind of a different channel from what was going on with him and the KGB.
In his 2014 article, "Ghosts of the Spy Wars," former high-level CIA officer Tennent H. Bagley quotes a Russian intelligence officer who wrote that "most" of CIA's agents who were betrayed by Aldrich Ames were actually Kremlin-loyal all along.
have you found any other person with same claim as Alexander Kouzminov's?
Also interesting (could be related to Fourth Mole investigation, if the person in question was in liaison position) is an allegation about the existence of a mole within SIS in/around 1990.
Well, eight of them were executed. That would be the KGB carrying the cover story a bit far -- a guy takes on he dangerous task of being a double agent, then gets executed by his masters for his loyalty and trouble? Kinda hard to swallow. Of course the Russian intelligence officer quoted by Bagley would be entirely capable of blowing disinformation smoke. I wonder which Russian intelligence officer he is referring to. Do you know?
Here's the pertinent footnote from Bagley's 2014 article, "Ghosts of the Spy Wars," (which you can read for free by googling "ghosts of the spy wars" and "archive" simultaneously).
Aleksandr Kouzminov, Biological Espionage: Special Operations in the Soviet and Russian Foreign Intelligence Services in the West (London: Greenhill Books, 2005), p. 59.
Thanks for all of the comments! Some of the issues Pete Bagley brings up are subjects Michael and I intend to touch on in future posts. I'll say that very few veterans of the IC I've spoken to give a lot of credence to the idea that the Soviets ran long-term controlled doubles—even though the Cubans and East Germans had pervasive double agent programs. That said, there are a lot of very interesting topics to explore. Check out this video by David Robarge, around 22:00 he touches on how deception operations carried out against the Germans (Operation Fortitude etc) were reinforced by German double agents before D-Day and how that influenced Angleton's—and by extension Bagley's—thinking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pin7eqFxQg

I’m really looking forward to this—I’m always fascinated by sharp investigative techniques and the complex reasons behind betrayal.
Sounds good, I'll certainly be watching! And thank you so much for staying factual!
